Dr. Riolan Marbun
Optometrist
Dr. Riolan Marbun believes that exceptional eye care begins with listening. He takes the time to understand each patient's concerns, answer questions, and carefully determine the best solution for their individual vision and eye health needs. His goal is for every patient to leave feeling informed, confident, and well cared for.
Dr. Marbun earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a minor in Biology after studying at Butler University and the University of Tennessee. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated Cum Laude. He has been practicing optometry since 2002, beginning his career in his hometown of Nashville before moving to San Diego in 2009.
Throughout his career, he has remained committed to providing personalized, thorough eye care and building lasting relationships with his patients.
Dr. Jeffraym Espinoza
Optometrist
Dr. Jeffraym Espinoza strives to make eye care a comfortable and positive experience for his patients. His easygoing, conversational approach encourages patients to ask questions, while he takes the time to explain their vision and eye health and help them find solutions that work for them.
Dr. Espinoza earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from San Diego State University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University.
Dr. Espinoza's connection with Marbun Optometry began before optometry school, when he worked alongside Dr. Marbun as an optometric assistant. After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree, he returned to the practice—this time as an optometrist.
A San Diego native, Dr. Espinoza enjoys making espresso drinks, collecting vinyl records, PC gaming, and surfing in his free time.
